Emma Shelley is a photographer originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia where she received her BFA in photography. While there she developed her style into one that tells the stories of the world around her. With her deep appreciation for history coupled with her wandering spirit, Shelley’s work captures the essences of a place in a way that makes it seem familiar, as if we have been there before. Focusing in on light, color and subject, she believes the beauty and rawness that our world demonstrates is always worth finding and capturing.

Emma Shelley currently lives with her family and two dogs, Mary and Malley, and her cat Cleo outside of Washington D.C. in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
